Montour-DeLong Community Fair Association and Montour Antique Farm Machinery Collectors Association will not be responsible for any damage to tractors or injury to contestants or anyone else participating in this contest.

GENERAL RULES

  1. Those under 18 years of age must have written parental/guardian permission.
  2. Any tractor or driver found to be unsafe or illegal will be disqualified or barred from hooking.
  3. No alcoholic beverages will be permitted on fair grounds.
  4. Drivers must stay on the seat of the tractor at all times. Hands must be on the steering wheel, hand brakes, hand clutch, or throttle at all times during the pull.
  5. Any part falling off the tractor after being hooked and until the tractor is unhooked will result in disqualification.
  6. The Rules Committee will interpret all rules. The Rules Committee will rule on any unforeseen problems or oversights with their decisions being final.
  7. A tractor can be entered only once in each class.
  8. Registration is closed when that class starts.
  9. All pulls will be started from a tight hitch.
  10. Tractor must stay within the boundaries of the course.
  11. Pull is complete when forward motion of the sled stops.
  12. No chains or dual wheels permitted. Four-wheel drive tractors must have front wheels disengaged.
  13. Pulling will be done from a stationary drawbar in all directions.
  14. Drawbar must be equipped with a clevis or hitching device. Hitch must be unobstructed by weights.
  15. Exhaust pipe must extend above steering wheel, except for stock rear or side exhaust system.
  16. Tractor leaking uncontrolled excess fluid on the track prior to green flag will not be permitted to pull.
  17. A limit of 2 minutes to start your pull when call may be implemented by track officials.
  18. Maximum turbo for all turbo class is a3” inlet.
  19. When one size smaller diameter tire is used, one size wider tire allowed. Permitted once.

Violation of any rule shall constitute a disqualification. Course to be governed by judge or judges with all decisions final. Judges have the right to stop and disqualify any tractor if it is not being operated in such a manner as would be considered safe.
