Section 1C - 4 Wheel Vehicle Pull

- Driver must be 18 years of age or older.
- All contestants must sign waiver of liability.
- No one will be allowed on the track area except contestants and track officials. No helpers allowed. Only one driver is allowed in vehicle.
- There will be no weights on front end of vehicle.
- The judges have the right to stop and disqualify the driver of any vehicle that is not being operated in a safe manner.
- Violations of any rules shall constitute a disqualification.
- All vehicles must be in neutral gear while being hitched to and unhitched from sled.
- Vehicles must be stopped upon signal from judge.
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages prior to or during the pull will be cause for disqualification.
- Number one puller will be a test puller and may take the pull, if the weight machine is okay, or re-pull in the third position.
- All pulls start from a tight hitch. No jerking permitted. Contestants will be allowed two attempts in thirty feet. Puller must return to starting line for second attempt.
- The pull will be considered over when the forward motion of the load stops. The judge will hold hole digging to a minimum.
- All vehicles must have a current license plate and inspection sticker.
- Added weights must be secured to vehicle. No weights on front end or in cab.
- Ring or clevis-type hook must meet approval of committee.
- Excessive loss of liquid by a vehicle while in forward motion during pull will disqualify the driver unless due to internal breakage.
- No visual modifications to engine are permitted other than air cleaners, headers, and no open exhaust.
- Dual wheels are not allowed. Must have D.O.T. approved tires with no altered tread.
- Maximum drawbar height is 24" with a minimum of a 3" diameter hold for hook, no ball hitch.
- No rigid suspension.
- One driver per vehicle.
- Committee reserves the right to change rules if necessary.
- Legitimate entries will be decided by the committee only - no exceptions.
- Any discrepancies will be between driver and committee only - no other person.
- All hitches must be at the most rearward part of the vehicle, such as rear bumper, tailgate or bed, etc.
- Any hot-roding, excessive speed, or recklessness on grounds will cause driver and vehicle, etc. to be disqualified.
- Must have original type of engine and frame for vehicle being entered.
- Diesel engines may use one turbocharger only unless factory equipped.
